About This Site

Matt and I decided in early 2003 that we wanted to sail around the world. After much ridicule and many years of planning and drinking we have finally gotten ourselves set to go.

We will leave Sydney at the end of 2007 and sail up the east coast of Australia before setting out across the pacific.

There is no boat yet, although Matt and I have been saving the money to get a nice battler 40 footer. We'll be making the purchase in November or December and getting underway soon after.

This website has been setup to document all the fantastic places we want to visit. We also invite you, our friends, family or other interested parties to submit your own ideas on where we should go and what we should see.

Ultimately this site may even become a useful resource for others planning similar sailing trips or their own form of travel.
